This famous luxury vehicle from the Jay-Z & Kanye West “Otis” music video was sold for $60,000 at auction last week. We loved the idea behind taking a $350,000 2004 Maybach 57 and chopping it to pieces. The car went up on the auction block at the New York Contemporary Art Evening auction and reportedly sold in less than five minutes. With price estimates around $100,000 – $150,000, the car was advertised as a work of art and not a working vehicle – sounds like some show cars we know! Part of the proceeds from the sale benefitted Save the Children to provide food for children in Africa.
